Mrs Kirby's Weekly Words Summer 5

More Money! More Problems!
Problem Solving has been the focus of this week with all classes solving money problems as well as designing and creating their own moving vehicles. From Fruit Cafes, shopping in Tescos and talking savings (spending), to building sculptures out of recyclable materials and team building games, the girls have immersed themselves in all the challenges presented to them.
And if that wasn’t enough… Upper Juniors took part in their annual Swimming Gala which was an exceptional display of talent and skill as well as courage, loyalty and effort - well done to everyone!
Next week is half term, and it is a time to look forward and plan the last 6 weeks of this academic year. There is so much to look forward to and, as always, this very busy time of year is a wonderful celebration of everything the girls have achieved over the past year.
I hope you all have a wonderful half term.
