Mrs Kirby's Weekly Words Summer 6

Welcome back to our final Half Term of the year…
I can’t believe we only have five weeks left; there is still so much to fit in! Sports Day, Swimming Gala, Summer Concert, Prize Giving, more trips and lots of learning still to do.
This week the girls have enjoyed many different experiences including Year 6 visiting Sky Academy Studios where they created their own video adverts for new apps designed by them. Their videos can be found here.
On Wednesday, our Athletics team competed at the ISA Regional competition with some amazing personal results. As a team, the girls came 2nd overall which is an amazing achievement! (More on this next week).
Yesterday, the Athletics team could not rest for long as they travelled to Bournemouth to commence their athletics tour. They competed well against The Gregg School yesterday and we look forward to hearing how they got on against The Ballard School today.
Next week, we look forward to our Upper Junior Summer Concert on Tuesday evening. It is set to be filled with hits from the movies so we will be rolling out the red carpet for this showcase of talent!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
