Mrs King's Words Lent 6
Happy Valentine's Day!
We’ve made it through the first half of the term and most of us are now ready for our half term break! When we come back we can look forward to better weather (hopefully!) and lighter nights. What have you got planned for your half term?
Today in assembly, on the theme of Valentine's Day, we talked about how you can show people you care. The girls came up with some lovely ideas such as paying someone a compliment and talking to them when they’re on their own. We even talked about how a smile can go a long way. I would love to hear some examples of how the girls have been showing that they care over half term. If there is anything specific and you would like to share it with me please do drop me an email and I will give them a mention in our celebration assembly after the break.
This week we have been very busy with visitors and welcomed three pupils on taster days in various year groups. One of the things I love most is talking to the visiting girls about what they have enjoyed about their day. Nearly every visitor finds a different aspect of their day enjoyable which just goes to show that there really is something for everyone!
Today is our talent show and although as I write this, I haven’t yet seen any of the acts, I have heard so much about them! I’m really looking forward to all of the acts. We will share some photos on the website after the event!
Wishing you all a wonderful half term.
