Mrs King's Words Lent 11
What a strange week it has been to be at school from home. Never before have I written my bulletin words from my garden sitting in the sunshine!
I have thoroughly enjoyed looking at your work in your Google Classrooms and seeing all of the great things your teachers have been asking you to do.
Thank you to everyone who has emailed updates and shared with me the wonderful things being done both in learning and also good times with parents, siblings and pets. I have seen cooking, baking and building things. We now have had puppy training in the garden at my house.
I appreciate that everyday won’t be an amazing day as we adapt to this new way of working but it really is a time to focus on the positives. Every morning I have been grateful to see the sun shining as I know that even if I have to work extra hard, I can work extra hard with the sun on my back.
This is a photo of Dexter, the new addition to our family. He is a Cavapoo and has been a part of the King household for two weeks. He is definitely keeping us busy. Miss Dockerill also has a new puppy in her house too.
Next week is our last week of the Lent Term and teachers will set activities to be completed up until Wednesday. As on this occasion the holidays will be a little more restricted than usual, our teachers will suggest some fun holiday activities that will help to keep you all amused. At Claires Court Junior Girls we are big believers that learning happens all of the time in a wide range of different ways so please remember, if you are doing something that requires a little bit of thought, concentration or being active, it won’t be time wasted. Please know that we understand that getting the balance right isn’t always going to be easy. Some days will go better than others and there is no pressure for you to do more than you are able to at any given time. Do what makes you happy!
Thank you to those who have shared their rainbow photos. Please do keep sharing them with me.
Take care and stay safe.
