Mrs Kirby's words summer week 4

It's a goodbye to video for this week and back to writing which actually gives me a great opportunity to include some news and photos from the week.
We hosted our first fixture in over a year this week in the form of a Year 5 Swimming Meet against Highfield. It is so good to be seeing more normality drift in (more to come next week too!).
Following on from last week’s news, Year 5 were eventually spotted enjoying a day as a Senior Girl (and as a spy). The girls enjoyed Science, Maths, Drama, History and Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and had lots of fun along the way!
Reception had a wonderful time at the Thicket last week and are looking forward to going back next week to enjoy more time with the Reception Boys and the woodland.
Mrs Tewari had her baby boy, Maxim, on Tuesday (her due date!). Everyone is doing well, and we wish Mr & Mrs Tewari all the best!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
