Mrs Kirby's words summer week 7

The picture here captures a moment during the ISA National Athletics Competition on Tuesday - another example of “normality”! Well done to all of the girls who competed (in very warm conditions!); all results will be inputted virtually and results will be available in the next few days.
Cloadagh’s Challenge Update
Clodagh and her family (including Dice the dog) completed their 10k cycle over half term. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported and donated; Clodagh’s total is now at over £10,000!
This week has seen Year 1 visit The Thicket, Year 2 were awarded their Climate Heroes Blue Peter badges for saving electricity by turning off lights and school and at home, using reusable and recyclable water bottles and thinking about other things we can do to protect the environment. Year 5 celebrated World Oceans Day and we welcomed our first visitors into Year 6 to talk “Thinking Big” to the class. Thank you to Mr Kayani, Mr Jones, Mrs Davies, Mr Hughes for your talks and activities this week.
Have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to seeing you at the many events we have planned over the next few weeks.
