Mrs Kirby's words summer week 9
“The sun will come out tomorrow.." We are all still reeling from the amazing performance of Annie last night. Even though the audience was small and in masks and Year 3 and 4 weren’t part of the production, the girls performed and sang their hearts out!
It was truly magnificent and the girls should be very proud of themselves. As I said last night, the girls represented so much, including courage (faced with an audience all wearing masks!), talent and confidence. Thank you to everyone for making this a memorable event, including Mrs Stevenson - thank you.
On Thursday, the girls enjoyed moving up to their new classrooms with their new teachers. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to invite in any external pupils but we will find other ways of meeting them and making them feel welcome.
Next week, we are very much looking forward to Sports Days from Nursery to Year 6 and, despite the zoning, we’re sure that you as spectators will bring the atmosphere and support!
We are taking each event as it comes with regards to restrictions, and will email out information ahead of each one. We are still hoping to go ahead with all of our planned events but this is in the hands of the Government and Local Authority.
Thank you so much for your continued support and patience.
Have a lovely weekend.
