Claires Court Maidenhead

from Nursery to Sixth Form

Mrs Kirby's words Autumn week 6

This half term has been a successful start to our academic year. We have had so much to celebrate, not least the way the boys and girls have come back with eagerness and kindness. The past 18 months have been a whirlwind of change and it is such a great thing to witness so many ‘normal’ events take place again.

One of those events was the tremendous fireworks; what a fabulous display it was too. Once again our brilliantly resourceful PTA, energetic rowing club and all divisions pulled together to remind us all of the strength of the Claires Court family and community spirit that is at the heart of our ethos.

The final week of school before half term has not seen a let up in both in the classroom, on the sports pitches or within the Forest School. We were also delighted, as were Baby Bank, to see the amazing generosity in your Harvest donations. Whilst we were frustrated not to have the community all together to celebrate our Festivals we hope you will be entertained by the film/link we will be sending to you that showcases the boys and girls enthusiasm, talents and enjoyment.

Swimmers, rugby and (girls sport) players all demonstrated wonderful sportsmanship, skills, resilience and the thrill of competitive action this week.

Also, just a quick reminder that our winter uniform is to be worn after half term please.

I hope you all have a wonderful break and enjoy time with family and friends, ready for the lead up to Christmas!
