Mrs Kirby's words Lent week 6

And just like that, we are halfway through the year (how did that happen?!) The days are getting lighter thank goodness which means moods are lifted and there is more time to do more! There have been many highlights this half term including our Football and Hockey successes, our win at The Oratory Maths competition, The Delancey Chess competition and the many trips that we have been on so far (with many more still to come!)
At Junior Girls this week, Reception had a wonderful time on a Forest School adventure concluding with eating a favourite delicacy - s’mores! Year 6 and their Little Girls in Reception enjoyed a swimming session together whilst Year 1 problem solved with the 5x table and cubes; they tried to find out how many cubes made up the width of their classroom, counting in 5s. Year 3 got creative and messy designing and making their very own Chocolate Factories!
To help strengthen our staff / parents relationships, we would like to invite you to some upcoming coffee ‘hangouts’. Mrs Swart, one of our current parents at Senior boys, will be at Junior Girls on Friday 11 and Friday 25 March at drop off with her coffee van (Cafe2U), from 8.15-9.30am. We hope this will enable a chance to stop and chat with fellow parents and teachers that are able to join.
Thank you for all of your continued support so far this half term. We hope everyone has a wonderful week and recharges their batteries for a busy second half of term.
