Miss Barlow's Words Lent 6

“Take every chance, drop every fear and always reach for the stars!”

This week was all about the Dance Show! Well, that is not strictly true; we still taught the girls (lots in fact!) and competed in the London West ISA Regional Tournament. But I cannot let the success of the bi-annual Dance Show pass by without it’s own feature in our weekly bulletin…

Junior Girls Dance ShowI cannot express how proud I am of the girls and the PE department for putting on such a talent-filled, creative and moving performance. From beginning to end, I went on an emotional rollercoaster - from crying with happiness when the curtain opened on the Reception minions to being moved by the individual performances of junior and senior girls. When events come along which leave you staggered, moved and in awe, it is hard to find the words to describe the ‘goosebump’ feeling you get. It was an honour to watch the girls and it is an honour to be part of a team and school which enables every single pupil to be a part of something so special.

A special thanks to Miss Lucy Lamond for being our Headteacher for the day. She excelled in her role and enjoyed many of the things which we Headteachers do. (No, not sitting around all day drinking tea!!!)

Have a wonderful Half Term and we look forward to seeing you for the second half of our Lent Term.
