Miss Barlow's Words Lent 8

“Take every chance, drop every fear and always reach for the stars!”

World Book Day! Well…. What can I say? What a magnificent effort everyone made to dress up and engage with their favourite character from their favourite book. From Mary Poppins to Matilda, everyone looked fantastic and I was so pleased to see so many of the girls “up-cycling” clothing and possessions which they already owned.

As well as all of the fun they had in class, Lower Juniors were visited by Maisie Mouse and Upper Juniors enjoyed a thoroughly entertaining talk from Ali Sparkes. Each class took part in a range of activities and some photos say it all…
