Mrs Kirby's Words Summer 2
It’s only week 2 and already the girls have…
… completed their LAMDA exams, competed in a swimming gala and Year 1, 2 and 5 have all been out on trips; oh to be back at school again!
In my office, I am lucky to have a copy of Year 6's ‘Fight for the Right’ book which they completed last term. The book is a compilation of biographies, written by the girls, of well known women who were chosen by the Mums in the class. As I was flicking through this book again with Mr Wilding, I was reminded of just how remarkable of young women are. Their conscientious, enthusiastic and strong attitudes are helping to shape our world, and I for one am excited to be a part of their journeys. The foreword of this book was written by a Grandfather of one of the girls in the class; Mr Prince.
Next week, we look forward to our Lower Junior Summer Concert on Tuesday and we welcome our New Reception Parents to a coffee morning on Thursday.
I hope that the girls travelling to Wembley to watch the Women’s FA Cup Final have an amazing time and that you all have a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend,
