Gap Year Teaching Assistants (Fixed-term)

We are seeking to appoint one highly committed and self-motivated Gap Year Teaching Assistants. The Gap Year Teaching Assistant is part of a team supporting the teaching staff, assisting them in lessons, with administration, the coaching of sports and other tasks as directed.  This inevitably means the Gap Year Teaching Assistant is constantly in direct contact with the pupils.

This is a full time role Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5.00pm, when the School is in session. In addition, the ability to be flexible with working hours should the need arise is important.

To be successful in this role, you must be:-

  • Enthusiastic and want to experience as many opportunities as possible to develop your CV.
  • Interested in working with children.
  • Proficient and interested in a wide range of curriculum areas such as sport, music, drama and art.
  • Educated to a good standard: English and Maths GCSE A-C grade.

You recognise the importance of educating the whole child within a broad curricular and co-curricular programme, and of achieving high standards.
