Typically VE Day would be an opportunity to celebrate and reflect on this important moment in history and would see us all marking the occasion with our friends, family and neighbours at social gatherings such as street parties. However, this year due to the Covid-19 crisis and the Government’s advice on social distancing, we have to stay at home with our immediate family. However, we can still have fun and mark the occasion together with the VE Day cooking competition.
