Battle of the Houses
The enthusiastic and at times raucous, inter-house song competition returned for it's second year to huge success.
Well organised by music prefect Millie Honiball, the show required each house to submit at least one entry in the solo, duet, trio, group and house categories. Stand out performances occurred in the solo category, with Cassie Halpin on the guitar and singing, and Maddie Sparks on the piano and singing, tied in first place, both for St Vincent. The group performance went to the Year 11 group from St Therese for pure comedy value. There were some fantastic debuts from Lily Palmer Moore for St Francis, Sophie Leopold and Ciara Griffiths for St Therese, and Emily Spratley and Sophie Gordon for St Ignatius, all of these acts gaining in confidence through their songs.
