Golfers Win the Baylis Cup School Team Competition

Our golfers are celebrating their success after winning the ‘Baylis Cup’ on Monday 3 July. A competition supported by Maidenhead Golf Club and The Maidenhead Advertiser. Competing against four other teams (Claires Court ‘A’ team, Edgbarrow and Burnham Grammar School) the Claires Court ‘B’ team took the title in wonderful golfing weather.
The teams played a four ball Stableford format with the best two scores recorded and all five teams produced excellent results.
5th - Burnham Grammar
4th - Charters
3rd - Claires Court ‘A’ 3rd,
2nd - Edgbarrow
Winners - Claires Court ‘B’ with a magnificent score of 87 points .
The winning team of Josh Petrok, Jordan Talia, William Liddiard and Connor Peters were presented with The Baylis Cup by Alan Sweet, Junior Golf Development Officer at Maidenhead Golf Club. Fellow pupil, Matt Hine won nearest the pin on the par three 13th.
