Juniors Enjoy a Sunny Day
This week there have been plenty of gloriously sunny days, and it seems our Juniors have been making the most of it!
Junior Boys started their ‘Ramblers Wellbeing Walk’, Helen Davies, Librarian explained the benefits;
“Recent reports have proven daily walks and exercise have positive effects on mental well being and behaviour and performance so not only did the boys enjoy it but it has major benefits..”
Over at Junior Girls, the young pupils enjoyed a flower walk as part of their topic ‘How does your garden grow’. They went in search of common flowers with the aim to find and name them. Using tallies they marked down which were the most common in the area and discovered that there are plenty of bluebells, tulips and daffodils!
