Bookmarks Exchanged Between Claires Court, Croatia and Australia

To celebrate Libraries Week, Junior and Senior Book Clubs took part in the Bookmark Exchange Project, organised by the International Association of School Librarianship.
The project matched schools and Junior Girls was matched with a primary school in Croatia, and Senior Girls an Australian school library. The girls were tasked with making homemade bookmarks to exchange by post. Many chose to draw famous UK landmarks.
Paula Copeman, Senior Girls Librarian, said:
“It's a simple, fun way of sharing the pleasure and delights of books and libraries and of making new friends through school libraries worldwide. Well done to all the girls who produced lovely, creative bookmarks - I’m sure our matched schools will enjoy receiving them!”
