ISA National Cross Country Finals
Last weekend two pupils from Junior Girls, Phoebe, Year 4, and Josie, Year 3, competed in the ISA National Cross Country Finals. Both girls did themselves proud with Josie achieving 13th place running the course in 6 minutes 34 seconds and Phoebe 49th place overall, with a time of 7 minutes 13 seconds.
Katie Hudson, Junior Girls sports teacher, said:
“Both girls ran in the Year 3 and 4 age category and were competing amongst 61 other runners. The girls ran an exceptional race, pacing themselves around the course and also gaining valuable experience.”
