A tea party fit for a Queen
As we recently saw Queen Elizabeth celebrate her ninety-third birthday, pupils from Year 2 held a tea party in honour of the long reigning monarch.
A royally good afternoon saw Year 2 host a tea party in honour of Queen Elizabeth II, whom they have been learning about as part of their History topic. The classroom was awash with carefully crafted Union Jack flags, bunting and crowns as the boys stood proudly singing along to the National Anthem.
Christine Ward, Junior Boys History teacher, commented:
“The pupils enjoyed their tea party, especially the food, wearing their crowns and singing the National Anthem.”
