Senior Girls haircut for charity

Senior Girl, Molly, has been growing her hair with plans to donate it to the Little Princess Trust once it was long enough. Well, that day has come! On Wednesday 28 April 2021 Molly cut 12 inches off her hair which is being donated to a brilliant cause.
The Little Princess Trust was set up in 2006 to provide free real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. Alongside this, they also raise money to fund researching the causes of paediatric cancer, and the development of less toxic cancer treatments.
Molly said, “The Little Princess Trust is something that is close to my heart, as one of my friends was diagnosed with cancer when she was 8 years old. She benefited from a wig from Little Princess Trust which was kindly donated by other peoples hair donations”.
She went on to add, “I am having my haircut for Little Princess Trust because they need my hair more than I do!”
Currently Molly has raised an amazing £746 for the cause, beating her target by £196… and this amount is still going up!
Molly has shown such a high level of courage, maturity and selflessness through her actions. Well done, Molly!
