Time to think about buying your Christmas Tree?
This year we are selling non-drop Nordmann Fir Christmas Trees, from 3ft-8ft, to raise funds for the Rowing Club. Our aim is to raise enough to buy a Coxless Quad for the Senior Girls! Each tree is 15% less than the normal prices you would find in garden centres so to order, please go to http://schl.cc/dj or see further details here. You’ll be able to collect it on 3/4 December so it’ll be here in plenty of time before the big day.
Tree Planting - would you like to help?
We look forward to commencing the planting of our Jubilee Canopy trees in our fields this Saturday and for our next project; if any families would like to be involved in the expansion of our tree planting to create a 'Tiny Forest' there, I have opened up a specific slot for this on Saturday morning, 4 December. My grateful thanks to parent Simon Hawkins (Y12) who is volunteering his expert knowledge to ensure our trees successfully flourish into the longer term. - James Wilding

Have you completed the e-consent form? The deadline was last Monday 15 November - this does have to be completed even if you are opting out. Please see the letter again here from the Berkshire Immunisation Team.
Year 4 Only - Joint Junior Girls and Boys Football Tour - March 2022
Please see the google form here which was emailed home to our Year 4 parents earlier this week regarding the proposed joint Year 4 Junior Girls and Boys Football Tour - the deadline for completing the form is Friday 26 November.
St Luke's Church Christmas Tree Festival
Claires Court are taking part in the St Luke’s Christmas Tree Festival where we sponsor, decorate and donate a Christmas tree. The Festival takes place from 3 December to 5 December. Please pop along to St Luke’s to view our decorated trees. www.stlukeschristmastreetrail.co.uk
Claires Court Juniors PTA Christmas Fair - Thursday 9 December
This is being held from 7-9pm at Junior Boys Sports Hall. Please pop the date in your diary and feel free to bring a friend with you! We'll be serving mince pies and mulled wine whilst you shop.
All Saints Christmas Market - Sunday 28 November
All Saints Church are holding their first Christmas market in their Church Quadrangle - please see information here.
Inter House Netball Tournament
We would love parents to come along to support the Inter House Netball Tournaments. We ask that parents enter via the gates at the bottom of the car park near the swimming pool. Gates will open from 1.40pm-2pm.
Year 3 and 4 Inter House Netball Tournament - Friday 10 December, 2pm start at CC Girls.
Year 5 & 6 Inter House Netball Tournament - Thursday 16 December, 2pm start at CC Girls.
Swimming Pool
We have had to close our swimming pool until further notice due to circumstances out of our control. All timetabled swimming lessons, before-school swimming and after-school swimming clubs have been cancelled. Can we please ask that all girls bring in their trainers for the days they would normally have curriculum swimming. If your daughter attends the after school swimming club, she can either go home at 3.50pm or study until 5pm.
Reporting Sickness/Medical Appointments/Requesting Holiday
Just a reminder to report sickness/medical appointments to girls@clairescourt.com or telephone 01628 327500 (you can leave a voicemail outside of school hours and this will get picked up once the office is open). For holiday requests please put this in writing prior to any holiday being booked.
