Christmas market - fancy some handmade presents?
In just two weeks, our Junior Boys PTA will be holding their infamous Christmas Market offering you the chance to buy Christmas presents in peace (and perhaps shop for yourself too!). Local suppliers include Wild Lotus offering unique hand printed tea towels, handmade fudge from Fudgelicious, locally cured meats from Bray Cured, engraved wood from Blue Acorn plus fairies, gonks and gifts alongside homemade wax melts, Tropic skincare and even an artisan gin! For a full list please go to our Facebook page where the event will have all the details with links to browse before the evening itself.
Please put it in your diary, it'll be a great event plus you will get mulled wine and mince pies to help with the shopping experience! 7pm-9pm, Thursday 9 December.
ALL YEAR GROUPS
Face Masks
We are still giving out so many disposable face masks to boys who have forgotten their mask and/or broken the disposable one they have already been given. Please may we ask for parental support in ensuring your son has a reusable face mask with him when coming into school, and always carries a spare with him in his school bag, so we can significantly reduce the number of disposable face masks being handed out daily. Thank you.
House Captains
We were pleased to announce at assembly this week our Academic and Sport House Captains for each year group as follows, as well as Arty H taking on a Marketing role:

Lent Term Activity Sign Up
Activities sign up for the Lent Term goes live on Monday 29 November at 4pm and further details will be emailed on Monday.
Covid Testing
Please remember Lateral Flow tests are for asymptomatic testing only, and if displaying any of the three covid symptoms below a PCR test should be taken:
- Persistent cough
- Temperature
- Loss of taste
Your son should be bringing home a new pack of LFD tests with him today. Please do ensure he is testing consistently twice a week at home and reporting the results.
LFD tests have been widely and successfully used to detect asymptomatic COVID-19 cases. A recent report has shown that the accuracy of LFD tests was more than 80% effective at detecting any level of COVID-19 infection and likely to be more than 90% effective at detecting the most infectious people at the point of testing. So please continue testing to keep everyone as safe as possible!
Foodshare Donations - Christmas Wish List
We will again be collecting valuable donations for Foodshare, and this year have been asked to provide Christmas items specifically as shown in the poster linked above.
Please bring donations into school from the week commencing 6 December, when there will be collection boxes in classrooms.
