Dress Code in Sixth Form
The Sixth Form were reminded of Sixth Form Dress Code this week. Our Sixth Form are role models to the rest of the school and we expect the highest standards of conduct and appearance at all times. Students must be smartly dressed, as if they would be working in a professional environment.
Business Dress
If you ‘dress smart’ you will ‘think smart!’ So your appearance matters, especially as you are role models for the rest of the school and ambassadors for the Sixth Form in the wider community.
Formal business dress is worn on ‘Make it Mondays’ and to all significant school events including Speech Day, Carol Service, Commemoration Service and the Year 12 Celebration. A suit (matching jacket and trousers) with a shirt and tie with smart business shoes should be worn or a suit (matching jacket and trousers/skirt/dress of modest length) with collared blouse and smart business shoes is to be worn.
Casual business dress can be worn Tuesday to Friday which comprises chinos, a blazer, plain polo shirt (collared) and smart business shoes with the option to wear a shirt and team tie on match days. Alternatively a combination of skirt/dress (modest length), or trousers with a jacket (does not need to match) with smart business shoes.
