Clarification on wearing of PE and Games Kit
Years 7, 8 and 9 should come into school in Claires Court branded sports kit on Tuesdays and Thursdays i.e. their games afternoons
Year 10 should come into school in Claires Court branded sports kit on Wednesdays and Fridays i.e. their games afternoons
PE Days - On days when boys have a PE lesson, or an after school games activity, they should come into school wearing school uniform and will be able to change in school.
NB - Only Claires Court branded sports kits are permitted. If boys are wearing Nike, Adidas etc. kit they will be asked to change out of it.
Thursday 7 July/Friday 8 July “Living The Dream” Senior Girls Musical
Please find information about the forthcoming musical “Living The Dream” being held at Senior Girls on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 July and performed by Senior Girls. This is a ticketed event with a cost of £4 for U16’s and £8 for adults - payment to be made via the Payment Portal before Friday 1 July and we would be grateful if you could also complete the google form so we know which night you would like to attend - tickets will be issued to your son upon receipt of payment. We do hope you can make one of the performances and look forward to seeing you there.

Language Choice for Year 9 - deadline Friday 20 May
The deadline for confirming your son’s language choice for Year 9 is today, Friday 20 May. You would have received a reminder email yesterday if you had not already done so, in which case please do complete this Year 9 Language Choice form by close of play today. Thank you.
FYI GCSE option subjects are not chosen until the Lent Term of Year 9. You will however be asked to make a choice of Creative Arts subjects for September 2022 and this form will be shared with you next week.

HPQ Parent Drop-In - Monday 23 May 6.30pm
We have now pitched the Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) to all of Year 9. This is an academic extra qualification on offer to all current Year 9 students. The specification is here for you to browse though but we would also like to offer an online drop-in session for parents of Year 9 to understand a little more about the qualification at 6.30pm on Monday 23 of May. The MEET link has been emailed to parents directly.
Year 10 Only
B10 Academic Mentoring - Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 May
Please book a slot for an Academic Mentoring Meeting with your son’s form tutor next week by 11pm Sunday 22 May via the Report Portal, accessible through the Parent section of our website. Details can be found on page 13 of this help document, but in summary once you have logged in click on 'Parent Evening', select the day you wish to attend, click ‘Edit Appointment’, then move the toggle to ‘Required’ and select a time from the dropdown list. Meetings will be taking place over the following time frame:
- Tuesday 24 May 1.40pm - 7pm
- Wednesday 25 February 8.10am - 12.50pm
On arrival at school please sign in with Mrs Tarr at reception and your son will meet you there and take you to the appointment. Please do look through his Personal Action Plan with him ahead of this meeting and also the report from his Study Skills session with Linda Greetham if applicable, which is available on the Report Portal under Reports and Documents.

Thank you to those who expressed interest in the trip to Thorpe Park. We are now investigating the feasibility of a trip based on numbers and will let you know the outcome in due course.
