Non-uniform day! - Thursday 16 June - “Bring a Bottle”
Don’t wear your school uniform for the day by bringing in a non-alcoholic bottle for the tombola stall at the summer fete - this can be a bottle of bubble bath, soft drinks or something for a ‘foodie' such as nice olive oil or balsamic vinegar! Thank you in advance.
Junior House Art Competition
The Juniors have been completing work towards the House Art Competition. Under the theme of 'Material World' our students have had the choice of completing 2 Dimensional, 3 Dimensional or computer assisted art work.
Mr Wareing and Ms Ackland-Snow will be judging the work over the next couple of weeks and we will be able to present the winners for each house shortly.
Sports Day Programme Design Competition - Entries in by Wednesday 15 June!
The PE Department would like the Juniors to design a Sports Day front cover for this year’s Junior Sports Day programme. The winning designs will be used in the programme. Entries to be handed in to the School Office. The front cover designs must include the information below:

The next Maidenhead Junior Chess tournament is being held here at Junior Boys on Saturday 18 June. An entry form for the tournament can be found by emailing Mr Hogg in the first instance and can also be found pinned on the Chess noticeboard. Please take one.
There will be an end of year tournament on Monday 11 July (the final week of term). This will run in the afternoon after lunch up until 4pm (when the bus leaves). There will be medals for the best in each year, and trophies for the top Under 9 and Under 11 players. There is a sign-up sheet pinned to the chess noticeboard if your son would like to enter.
Awarded for kindness, helpfulness and compassion for doing the right thing without being asked, it is what makes our school a wonderful environment. This week our rabbits have been awarded to Arlo C (Y1) and Sam T (Y3).
