PTA Christmas Market 9 December - sadly cancelled.
Due to the rising cases of Covid, we have unfortunately had to cancel the Junior PTA Christmas Market next week. We will however be supporting our local businesses on our Facebook page so please pop over there to take a look at the stallholders.
Foodshare - Christmas Wish List
A reminder that we are still collecting foodshare items upto Tuesday 14 December with the collection point via the School Office. So that we have a good selection of items we would like to suggest that each of our year groups donate:

Year 2: Twiglets/Cheese Savories
Year 3: Christmas Puddings
Year 4: Christmas Cake
Year 5: Instant Hot Chocolate

St Luke’s Christmas Tree Festival This Weekend
Please support St Luke’s Christmas Tree Festival by visiting the church (Norfolk Road, SL6 7AX) this weekend where you can vote for our Christmas Trees.

Carol Service - Tuesday 7 December
Just as a reminder this year’s Joint Carol Service is being held in the Sports Hall at Junior Boys. Years 3 & 4 at 10am and Years 5 & 6 at 2.30pm. There will be a retiring collection for All Saint’s Church if you would like to make a contribution.
Christmas Lunch - Friday 10 December
It is assumed that ALL girls will have a Christmas Lunch on Friday 10 December UNLESS you opt out by completing this Junior Girls Christmas Lunch Form by 5 December. There will be no other food available for lunch this day, so if you opt out, please ensure your daughter brings a packed lunch with her. The £3.50 cost will automatically be deducted from the Payment Portal unless you have opted out. Please also let us know of any dietary requirements via this same form.
‘Save the Children’ Christmas Jumper Day - Friday 10 December
Wear your festive jumper to school for a £1 donation. Please help us support ‘Save the Children’ charity.
Inter House Netball Tournament
Entrance is via the gates at the bottom of the car park near the swimming pool. Gates will open from 1.40pm-2pm.
Year 3 and 4 Inter House Netball Tournament - Friday 10 December, 2pm start at CC Girls.
Year 5 & 6 Inter House Netball Tournament - Thursday 16 December, 2pm start at CC Girls.
End of Term December 2021
Monday 13 December - Thursday 16 December
No Activities (inc Study) & Early Coaches Only.
After School Care @ College Avenue will continue to run from 4pm except for the last day of term. Please note that After School Care is chargeable. Christmas Jumpers can be worn on the last day of term on Thursday 16 December!
If not collected by 3:50pm, Junior Boys will get the early coach to College Avenue at 4pm.
ISA Comic Strip Competition Key Stage 2
All of our Key Stage 2 Junior artists entered the ISA Comic Strip Competition this term. The theme was ‘Zero Waste’. Here are the pieces chosen for selection from CCJB & CCJG.
