Your voice counts! The more we hear, the more we understand which will in turn help shape our thoughts and strategies. The link is on an email sent yesterday via AYH@clairescourt.net (Senior Boys Secretary) and also on Friday 21 January. Children's Mental Health Week 7 - 13 February
Claires Court will be celebrating Children's Mental Health Week. As part of our celebrations, we will be having a daily activity focused on our mental health and join nation-wide webinars throughout the week! We are also inviting the children to dress up for 'Dress to Express' day on the 11 February, when we will be encouraging them to come into school in an outfit that they feel really represents who they are! In addition to this, all classes will be having a visit from Openview Education, who will host a 45 minute workshop with each class, helping them to learn self-care techniques, build resilience and boost their wellbeing. If you would like to get involved, we will also be sharing links to at home activities and virtual parent workshops to join from home in our class bulletins closer to the time.
Play Book Bingo with the Library!
It's simple: collect a Book Bingo card from the library, 'read' a line and win a prize. Complete as many lines as you like! Challenge ends on World Book Day, 3 March.
Sports Fixtures
You will find details of fixtures on our website and the pupils will also find them on the Sports notice board in the Atrium.
Medication
Please note that any medication coming into school must be accompanied by the Administration of Medicine Request Form duly completed and dropped off via the school office who will give it to the School Nurse so they can store and administer safely. Please do not put any tablets into your child’s school bag or give any to your daughter to keep with her.
