From the Office
Thank you all very much for your input into the recent parents survey. The survey has now closed but if you want to share any further thoughts with us, you are welcome to do so via marketing@clairescourt.com. We look forward to sharing more with you later this year.
Children's Mental Health Week 7 - 13 February
Claires Court will be celebrating Children's Mental Health Week. As part of our celebrations, we will be having a daily activity focused on our mental health and join nationwide webinars throughout the week. We are also inviting the children to dress up for 'Dress to Express' day next Friday 11 February, when we will be encouraging them to come into school in an outfit that they feel really represents who they are! In addition to this, all classes will be having a visit from Openview Education, who will host a 45 minute workshop with each class, helping them to learn self-care techniques, build resilience and boost their wellbeing. If you would like to get involved, we will also be sharing links to at home activities and virtual parent workshops to join from home in our class bulletins closer to the time.
Artist of the Week
Lots of painting across the year groups this week. Please click here to view our gallery of this week’s artists. If you are interested in doing The Art’s Award please have a look at this link. It really is a fantastic program delivered by the CC Artist in Residence, Frances Ackland-Snow.
Play Book Bingo with the Library!
It's simple: collect a Book Bingo card from the library, 'read' a line and win a prize. Complete as many lines as you like! Challenge ends on World Book Day, 3 March.
Medication
Please note that any medication coming into school must be accompanied by the Administration of Medicine Request Form duly completed and dropped off via the school office who will give it to the School Nurse so they can store and administer safely. Please do not put any tablets into your child’s school bag or give any to your daughter to keep with her.
Reporting Sickness/Medical Appointments/Requesting Holiday
Just a reminder to report sickness/medical appointments to girls@clairescourt.com or telephone 01628 327500 (you can leave a voicemail outside of school hours and this will get picked up once the office is open). For holiday requests please put this in writing prior to any holiday being booked.
