Sixth Form mock exams - w/c Monday 28 February
Mock exams for Sixth Form will take place in the week immediately after the half term holiday, in the week of Monday 28 February. These will be formal exams held in the Main Hall at College and will allow Year 13 to experience a series of formal exams before the summer A level exams. Year 12 will have the opportunity to take their first exams in the Main Hall.
Students and parents have received the timetable for this week.

“Beauty or the Beast?” - Monday 7 February 3pm-4pm
Marilyn Hawes, founder and CEO of the child protection charity “Freedom from Abuse” will be speaking to all Sixth Form on this date on “Beauty or the Beast”. This is a presentation designed specifically for teenagers to help them see and compare the differences between healthy and toxic relationships. It will help them spot any early warning signs during dating and in friendships which, over time, can become domestic abuse. Information will come from respected experts together with “lived experience”.
Government Economic Service - Economic Degree Apprenticeship
Starting in September 2022, applications are open now for over 60 vacancies nationwide, with departments such as the HM Treasury and the Department for Work and Pensions. This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a central government department or agency on some of the most important social, environmental and economic issues our country faces.
Applications close on Monday 14 February at 11.55am. Applications can be started here.
