Forest School continues to be enjoyed in the good old British weather and this week the children were given the problem of how to create a stretcher for an injured person. They used their problem-solving, creative thinking and collaboration skills to build stretchers that could carry their casualty to safety!

World Book Day: Digital £1 Book Token
We've enjoyed lots of activities and events for World Book Day this week: the 25th anniversary of the biggest annual celebration of books and reading in the UK.
All Junior pupils were treated to a free book as well as a printed £1 book token, to exchange for one of the exclusive, new and completely FREE World Book Day books available from participating booksellers. You can also download a digital £1 book token onto a device or print it off and take it with you to ‘pay’ for your free book.
Or you can use the £1 Book Token to get £1 off any full price book or audiobook instead.
An email was sent yesterday regarding the Y4 boys and girls history trip to Hampton Court Palace.

Please find the letter here which was emailed home recently. If your daughter has any medication she needs to take whilst away on this trip please can you complete the “Administration of Medicine Form” by Wednesday 9 March. All medication MUST be given to the School Nurse on the morning of the trip.
REMINDER Tuesday 22 March - Sports Team Photos/Year 6 and Year 11 Class Photo
If your daughter represents the school in a team sport (hockey, netball, rowing etc) please can she bring her full team kit in to wear for the photographs taking place. The Year 6 and Year 11 whole class photos (fun and formal) will also be taken so the girls need to wear full school uniform for this (with hair tied back). Information on how to order the photos will be given in due course.
