This second half of this term has almost six weeks of work and activity, so we do expect to be busy throughout. The first of the national sports tournaments (Under 15 Rugby) took place in Cambridge yesterday, with the Claires Court squad making the finals, losing narrowly to Finborough School 5-12. It's nice to recognise the quality that Claires Court is able to field at National level year-on-year.
Look out for the flyer coming soon in your child’s book bag/homework diary with details on how to buy tickets.

World Book Day: Digital £1 Book Token
We've enjoyed lots of activities and events for World Book Day this week: the 25th anniversary of the biggest annual celebration of books and reading in the UK. All pupils received a printed £1 book token, to exchange for one of the exclusive, new and completely FREE World Book Day books available from participating booksellers. You can also download a digital £1 book token onto a device or print it off and take it with you to ‘pay’ for your free book.
Or you can use the £1 Book Token to get £1 off any full price book or audiobook instead.
Tutors will be checking that boys are wearing the correct uniform at the start of the day and teachers will be doing the same at the start of lessons. Detentions will be given for 'missing' or ‘incorrect’ uniform. Additionally, blazers are to be worn in class with jackets being left in lockers.
House Cross Country - Saturday 26 March
Advance warning that the Cross Country will be taking place at Phoenix on the morning of Saturday 26 March where boys can win points for their House. It is an exciting course which mainly consists of flat field running with some short hills and uneven ground. Further information will follow in an email.
