Many things were enjoyed for International Women’s Day at Junior Girls and Junior Boys. In Year 6, each girl received a letter from her Dad or Grandad telling them why they were so inspirational. The girls then researched their Mum’s or Grandmother’s role model, which will later become a Year 6 book. (They also enjoyed a very special breakfast!).

Relationship and Sex Education plus Police Update
Following our parents' information evening on the school’s approach to Relationship and Sex Education on Tuesday evening, our Main Speaker, Marilyn Hawes has made available 10 additional handouts to support parents in their role and management of their children's needs. Additionally, our PC 6351 Angela FERRUCCI, LPA Safeguarding Schools Officer has shared with us their parents' newsletter, in which they raise awareness of exploitation and county lines here in the Thames Valley. That newsletter, and news of their new StreetSafe reporting tool can be found here. All our current pupils will receive awareness raising in these areas as part of their current PHSEE programme, directly from PC Ferrucci and from tutors.
Boyne Hill Cricket Club are offering courses for boys and girls aged 4-11 years.
Children aged 4-7yrs (i.e. Reception to Year 2) can join and children in Year 3 and older should join the U.9's and above. Please see the link here for further information.

REMINDER Tuesday 22 March - Sports Team Photos
If your daughter represents the school in a team sport (hockey, netball, rowing etc) please can she bring her full team kit in to wear for the photographs taking place.
REMINDER Year 6 Class Photo - Tuesday 22 March
Year 6 whole class photos (fun and formal) will also be taken so the girls need to wear full school uniform for this (with hair tied back). Information on how to order the photos will be given in due course.
