Last Friday we had 160 footballers on site and accompanying supporters who were all able to celebrate a fantastic festival of excitement, skill and plenty of great effort. The event ran very smoothly and a massive well done and thank you to everyone involved. Congratulations to Berkhamsted, Herries & Davenies who won the Cup, Plate and Bowl respectively.

Relationship and Sex Education plus Police Update
Following our parents' information evening on the school’s approach to Relationship and Sex Education on Tuesday evening, our Main Speaker, Marilyn Hawes has made available 10 additional handouts to support parents in their role and management of their children's needs. Additionally, our PC 6351 Angela FERRUCCI, LPA Safeguarding Schools Officer has shared with us their parents' newsletter, in which they raise awareness of exploitation and county lines here in the Thames Valley. That newsletter, and news of their new StreetSafe reporting tool can be found here. All our current pupils will receive awareness raising in these areas as part of their current PHSEE programme, directly from PC Ferrucci and from tutors.
Boyne Hill Cricket Club are offering courses for boys and girls aged 4-11 years.
Children aged 4-7yrs (i.e. Reception to Year 2) can join and children in Year 3 and older should join the U.9's and above. Please see the link here for further information.

Saturday’s chess tournament at CCJB was a huge success with 66 players taking part. Tom A and Kanishka S represented Claires Court and both improved on their previous tournament performance, earning several good results.
We have another tournament taking place here on 9 April for which an entry form will be online next week. These provide an excellent opportunity for those Claires Court boys looking to take a step into competitive chess. First time entrants can play in the Beginners’ Section.
We are onto the fifth round of the Delancey Chess Tournament, and boys are beginning to earn gold spots for their chess badges.
