The Library

Students studying in the library

Our library and its lively librarians are great at connecting boys with books, from engaging competitions, to book series aimed at boys and rugby themed activities.

During your son’s early days at Claires Court we will encourage him to enjoy the stories a book can tell, understand the wondrous facts that can be found within and help him to develop a habit of reading so that it becomes a skill for life.

Alongside this, the Library's mission is to support the School's curriculum and with the aid of the Librarian, provide access to current and appropriate information resources and ensure that all boys are confident and effective users of the Library. There is a particular focus on developing boys' skills in the areas of finding and using information.

Boys visit the Library frequently during the school week and study there during their mentoring periods. The Library is a popular place and is frequently in demand for access to the computers and desk space for completing independent work.

The Library is open before and after school allowing access and support throughout the day.
