COME AND SEE FOR YOURSELF
The best way for you to find out more about Claires Court Junior Girls is to visit the School. We welcome individual visits, where you can meet the head and have a pupil led tour.
Please contact the Registrar to arrange a meeting with Mrs Leanne Kirby, Head of Juniors or Mrs Lindsay King, Deputy Head of Juniors in charge of Junior Girls.
Alternatively Open Events are held throughout the year; they are an informal opportunity for you to see the School in action, have a coffee and a chat with the head or a senior member of staff.
After Junior Girls
Our education prepares our girls for the future; this includes their transition to secondary school with lessons in Senior Girls and Year 7 Taster Days, plus guidance sessions for parents.
Most of our pupils move up to Senior Girls, so they have a familiar confidence about the school and teachers, which alleviates many of their fears. But wherever they go, our girls move on with high self-esteem and resilience; so they are better able to make difficult decisions under peer pressure, able to manage stress, reach out for assistance and persevere in the face of challenges.
Year 6 girls take on many leadership roles that help them prepare for this stage, from tour guides for visiting parents to prefects, to house and sports captains, and class representatives.
