  • Boys Hockey Tournament

    On a bitterly cold Thursday in late January, the Senior Boys U14 7-a-side hockey team ventured down to Ballard School in New Milton to take part in the annual ISA tournament. The draw meant that group matches were against St Edward’s, Cheltenham and Ballard ‘B’.

    Mr Mark Turner, Director of PE and Team Coach said in his report:
    The first match was against a very strong St Edward’s team, who played well, putting Claires Court under pressure from the start. Their passing and close skills meant that the boys were often defending desperately. The team worked hard defensively, but there were many goal scoring opportunities, and it was only thanks to Tom Wakely in goal that Claires Court only lost 2-0.

  • Ellie Selected As One Of The Elite

    Congratulations to Ellie Rayer, former Claires Court Head Girl (2014-2015) on this week’s announcement that she has been selected for the GB Hockey Squad.  Throughout her time at the school Ellie excelled at sport and was an excellent role model for her peers, securing a place at Loughborough University.  We are thrilled to hear about her well-deserved selection and caught up with her as she headed off for training at Bisham Abbey.
