    The David Course memorial game played in great spirit each year to  commemorate David, was a great fixture this year. Claires Court starting very strong with a try early on from Chris Allen who went on to have a great game. Both teams played very well putting on a great game for the spectators.

  • Life During the Industrial Revolution

    Year 9 boys and girls spent the day at the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley, experiencing life in 1900 to enhance their studies of the Industrial Revolution. On a beautiful but cold day and with the help of a costumed character tour guide called Kevin, they discovered much about this time in history as they saw inside a range of houses and shops and went down the mine to find out about work underground.

  • Sailing to the Channel Islands

    The 2017 sailing trip returned at the weekend from an absolutely outstanding week aboard two of The Tall Ships Trust's 72ft Challenger round-the-world yachts where two teams pitted themselves against each other in a series of challenges on the high seas. Not only did they have to learn the ropes (literally), they had to cook, clean, steer and learn to navigate and record the logs.
