  • ISA National Swimming Competition

    Many congratulations to Nathan (Year 7), Spike (Year 4), Max, Samuel and Callum (Year 5), Rhiannon (Year 5), and Kally (Year 12) for their fantastic performances at the ISAs National Swimming Finals, held at the London Aquatics Centre in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday 21 January.  This is an extremely prestigious event and only the top swimmers are selected to perform at this superb venue.

    Pupils from Year 5 and Year 9 were delighted to be invited by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence KCVO CB ADC, President of Never Such Innocence and Vice President of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, to take part in the ‘Never Such Innocence’ event on Friday 19 January, held at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission on Marlow Road.

  • It's behind you!

    On Friday 19 January, our Year 9 Drama pupils presented their original pantomime '7 Dames for 7 Pantos' in the Senior Boys main hall. Not content with simply putting on a pantomime, they had created a medley of seven different stories complete with dames aplenty!

    Recently in one of the Senior Boys STEM Clubs (science, technology, engineering and maths), pupils in Year 7 and 8 made cars from card and straws, designing them to travel as far as they could.

  • Extracting DNA From A Strawberry!

    Year 11 boys have been studying the beautiful molecule of DNA in their biology lessons. They learned that DNA can be extracted from cells and amazingly the strawberry is an excellent source of DNA as it has eight copies of each chromosome so a lot of DNA can be extracted.

    On Friday 22 December 2017, Claires Court submitted a planning application for a new school campus at Cannon Lane, adjacent to Claires Court’s current site for Junior Boys at Ridgeway. The proposal will enable the popular and successful school to consolidate its three sites across Maidenhead into a single campus providing high-quality education and sports facilities to enhance the learning environment for pupils.
