This week the girls and boys on the Mini, Mid and Kool programme immersed themselves in the world of LEGO in a brick building workshop, in which they were given different tasks, like building pirate ships and a space pirate vehicle! Much to their excitement, a fire engine also came to visit the children, and the fireman gave them a full tour of the vehicle. On Tuesday afternoon, the field at Senior Girls turned into a water park, and the group had lots of fun water sliding!
Well, another jam-packed, full of fun week has flown by at Claires Court Holiday Activities!
The Holiday Activities Mini group had great fun when they built a time travel machine using all sorts of art and craft resources.

Boys and girls from the local area were thrilled to have renowned cricketer Dan Housego visit them for a cricket masterclass from Tuesday 10 to Thursday 12 April, organised by Claires Court Holiday Activities.
This Easter, Holiday Activities are celebrating heroes and heroines, because everyone has someone to look up to or admire. Now at the end of week one, for children in Mini, Mid and Kool groups, highlights of this week have been celebrating history heroes, animal heroes and superheroes.

Yesterday, our Holiday Club celebrated Pancake Day by making both savoury and sweet pancakes. They even dyed the pancakes with food colouring to create unusual red and blue pancakes!
Half-term means Holiday Club! Today the children have made animals with playdough, sewed hand warmers, and spent time learning cheerleading routines. Guess what tomorrow, Pancake Day, will entail…?!
