Feeling Cool with Arctic Activities

A trip to the Arctic had the children feeling cool this week down at Holiday Activities.
The next stop on their ‘around the world’ tour saw children learn about inuit culture as they ventured to the Arctic through crafts, cookery and outdoor learning. Learning important survival and bushcraft skills from ‘Natural Wildness’, the children constructed shelters which were thoroughly put to the test by the unseasonable weather conditions!
Other activities included a visit from Dog’s Trust; teaching the children important information on how to properly care for dogs and with the Ashes just around the corner, children at Sports Xtra brushed up on their cricket skills with expert coaching in batting, bowling and fielding.
