3for3 Fundraising Across the School

Across the School 3for3 activities have been taking place to raise money for local charities.

3for3 Sixth Form Doughnut EatingEvery year three charities are chosen by each division, this year’s benefiting charities (some are the same across the divisions) include:

Alexander Devine
Rosie's Rainbow
Helen & Douglas House
Daisy’s  Dream
TVAP
Kids in Sport
The Link Foundation

The highlight of the annual Sixth Form effort to raise money for 3for3 was the messy and sticky doughnut eating competition.  And yet again, Year 13 proved they are greedier and have bigger mouths and stomachs!  In addition, a fun run was organised by Sixth Form BTEC students for pupils in Years 1 to 13. Dressing up in costumes, paying £2.50 to enter and running as many laps as they could, the event was a great success with a lot of laughs and silliness!

3for3 Junior BoysSenior Girls created a photobooth for the Juniors, Seniors and even staff members to have their photos taken and printed. There were also numerous cake sales, a sponsored silence, a pyjamas day and wet sponge throwing, brrrr

Across at Senior Boys,  Year 9 embarked on an inter-form rowing challenge. Where each form rowed from Boulters Lock to Hampton Court (virtually) covering a distance of approximately 50km, rowing for one hour on the school’s ergos, in relay crews of FOUR people.  Year 7 and 8 took part in a fancy dress fun run, see here.

Junior Girls arranged a vast range of activities such as cake sales, ‘guess the baby’, how many sweets in the jar and a Reception to Year 3 pyjama day!

Junior Boys have been raising funds with welly throwing, penalty shoot outs and the ever popular cake sales; Year 2 alone have raised over £200!

Nursery held a raffle making a total of £205!! Well done to the lucky winner who won the bundle of goodies.
