Strong Teamwork

Ten Senior Girls represented Claires Court in the National ISA Netball Tournament held on Saturday 5th March.
The girls met at 7am ready for the two hour trip to Malvern St James School. The girls played nine games, won seven, drew one and lost one.
Mrs Ruddick, PE Teacher said;
“The girls played extremely well over the whole day and clearly stood out as one of the top teams in the competition. Anna Worsfold in Year 9 led the team impressively, taking the warm ups and acting as a strong role model to her peers with her high level of play.
Myself and Mrs Heywood were very proud of how the girls conducted themselves during the very tough match which they drew. They handled a very difficult situation with maturity and respect. However, the hard game threw them off course and they found themselves down at half time in the final game but managed to bring it back to 5-7. It was close! But not close enough to win!”
