Springrific Activities
Although the weather has not necessarily shown this week, Holiday Club have embraced Spring with a week of Spring and Nature activities.
A special visitor came to the club from Braywick Nature Centre and brought with him a collection of animal skulls and feathers. The mini and mid groups had a fabulous show and tell session, while the kool group became nature detectives, looking at artefacts and using books to work out what they were.
One of the children’s favourite activities was when they made their own plant pots and watering cans by recycling milk cartons and cups and then planting some wildflower seeds. Across in the cookery session banana muffins were transformed into farmyard animals, completed with pens and special enclosures for them to live in. Swimming and watercolour activities were also another firm favourite of the week.
