Paul Bevis, Head of Senior Girls added, “Our focus on a broad education and a refusal to restrict pupil choice is completely vindicated. Pupils did not give up on their sporting, musical or dramatic endeavours nor did they shirk their prefect duties and other responsibilities.
The girls have shown that academic excellence (30% A*/A) and the development of character and life skills can go hand in hand. I am extremely proud of the work of our dedicated teaching team, our supportive parents and most of all our aspirational and enthusiastic pupils.”
Charlotte Lewis, with 5A*, 2As, 2Bs, 1C said, “I was so relieved and happy when I opened my results, especially as some of them were better than I expected. I have found the teachers to be really supportive of me and helped me get the grades I wanted. I’m staying at Claires Court for Sixth Form to study English, Psychology, Business and Photography. In the future I would love to get into Fashion Retail Marketing.”
