Lola Sprints Her Way to a World Record!
It was a great day for a Year 6 pupil at the Sprintathon World Record relay attempt held in Marlow last Saturday, in support of Stand Up To Cancer.
Junior Girl, Lola, ran two 100 metres sections in The 'Legless team' led by James Hall, father of Scarlett in our Reception class.
Lola did really well and subject to final adjudication we are delighted to advise the time achieved is the new World Record!
One of the team members said:
“Lola was fantastic and a great team member. What a runner! Scarlett and her little brothers were brilliant at cheering us all on. We beat the World Record which was incredible and Scarlett's daddy, Jimmy, ran the last 100m which was very emotional for us all.”
