Apprenticeships Opportunities for Sixth Form
Ellie and Ibby from AIM Apprenticeships came to speak to the Sixth Form in assembly today to talk about the opportunities available in the many companies who now provide apprenticeships. In a recent YouGov survey, less than 1 in 12 students reported that they had been advised to consider a work based apprenticeship after leaving school.
Here at Claires Court Sixth Form, Mrs Rogers, who is also our Head of Careers, has been advising students about the benefits of apprenticeships for the last four years. The presentation was very interesting and students were encouraged to get the App to see what is available from AIM.
Also, Sian Carter, Talent Development Consultant from Lloyd’s of London, was in assembly and she is happy to offer work experience to any interested students. Sian can be contacted on email@example.com.
