World Kindness Day
This week our Juniors celebrated World Kindness Day and well and truly embraced it. As you will see from below and in our gallery there were many acts of kindness:
Junior Boys
On Monday Junior Boys held a ‘Kindness’ afternoon. The pupils wrote acts of kindness that they had experienced on a paper leaf, which were all gathered up and stuck on the Kindness Tree in the Sports Hall. Pupils also took part in a range of activities including a team building sessions and a whole school Yoga class led by Miss Barrow.
Junior Girls
There were smiles all-round when the Junior Girls participated in World Kindness Day. They enjoyed a number of activities including team games to support their collaborative problem-solving skills, mindfulness and even some jungle animal yoga! During the day every single member of staff on the site was treated to a "kindness cake" wrapped and addressed to them by one of the girls to say thank you for all of their hard work and all of the girls made a pledge to do one kind thing outside of school to spread kindness into the wider community.
