An Unforgettable Show
For those who attended our Senior and Sixth Form performance, it was an ‘unforgettable’ experience. On Friday 17 and Saturday 18 November, our pupils showcased a fantastic performance called ‘The Unforgettables’ at the Desborough Suite, Town Hall, Maidenhead.
The evening’s entertainment consisted of solo, group pieces, dancing, acting and a fantastic live band. Some of the classics performed were ‘Pack up your troubles’, ‘That’s Amore’ and ‘Lollipop’ and many more.
It was an amazing cabaret style event where guests were greeted on arrival with a glass of prosecco with elderberry liquor before taking their seats at their table where nibbles and prosecco were presented. The Year 10 Food Studies and Sixth Form students helped create canapes which included; pesto with mozzarella and tomato, prawn cocktail, red onion marmalade and ham and choux buns with mushroom and thyme.
Pupil waiters were on hand during the evening and served delightful chocolates during the interval.
One member of the audience, a grandparent emailed the school after the event saying, ‘My wife and I would like to say how enjoyable was Friday's performance at Maidenhead Town Hall. We both enjoyed every moment of it, and would like to congratulate all concerned. An excellent evening.’
