Jelly and Chopsticks Experiment
It was tricky work for the Year 2 girls when they investigated forces and friction by carrying out a jelly and chopsticks experiment in their science lesson.
The experiment involved adding slippy oil to the jelly to see if if there was more or less friction when picking each jelly cube up.
Lindsay King, Deputy Head of Junior Girls, commented:
“The girls found it challenging to pick up the jelly cubes when the oil was added and quickly realised the friction was greatly reduced with the oil!”
